Originated in Japan, this non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. plantaginea.  It is known for its large, pure white, fall blooming (late August into September) flowers which are very fragrant. A large size (25 inches high) plant, it has shiny green foliage and the flowers are trumpet shaped.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...differs from H. plantaginea by its three sets of flower petals..."
