Hosta 'Turning Point'

This non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. 'Turnabout' from Ran Lydell of Cooks Nursery and Eagle Bay Gardens in New York. The medium size (14 inches high by 32 inches wide) hosta has wavy, medium green foliage. Its leaves are lanceolate, generally smooth with average substance. Pale lavender flowers bloom in August followed by viable seeds.

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "Leaves are upright then abruptly horizontal. Numerous flower scapes arise from the center of the mound and tower above the leaves."
