This slow growing cultivar was registered in 1997 by Jim Schwarz of Jim's Hostas of Iowa (now owned by Uniquely Hostas of Wisconsin) and is of unidentified parentage. It is a small size hosta about 8 inches tall by 12 inches wide with medium gold colored foliage. The leaves are flat and very shiny on top. Bell shape, striped flowers bloom from mid-June into July on scapes 8 to 12 inches tall followed by purple seed pods.
