Hosta 'Valley's Adonis'

Registered by Jeroen Linneman of the Netherlands in 2019, this cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Uncle Albert' × an unnamed seedling of H. kikutii. It is a medium size hosta about 18 inches high by 20 inches wide with slightly blue-green foliage. The leaves are relatively flat overall, lanceolate and very shiny on top. Pale lavender flowers bloom in August followed by viable seeds.

The registration materials state: "...slight blue-green color turns more green later in the season"

Adonis was the mortal lover of the goddess Aphrodite in Greek mythology.
