Hosta 'Valley's Dandy'

This seedling of H. 'One Man's Treasure' × H. 'Maya Kingsnake' was registered by Jeroen Linneman of the Netherlands in 2015. The upright mound grows into a large size hosta about 20 inches high by 20 inches wide.

Its medium green foliage is moderately flat, ovate, slightly wavy and very shiny on top. The petioles are an "extreme" dark purple and some of the color runs up into the veins of the leaf blade. Deep purple, tubular flowers bloom from mid-August into September and it sets viable seeds.
