Hosta 'Valley's Glossy Veins'
 

Registered by Jeroen Linneman of the Netherlands in 2018, this upright growing, large size (24 inches high by 32 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Uncle Albert'. It has ovate, medium green foliage that his heavily rippled, moderately cupped, deeply wavy, slightly corrugated and slightly shiny on top. Deep purple flowers on scapes up to 35 inches tall bloom from mid-July into August followed by viable seeds.

The registration materials state: "...Big glossy leaves with nice ruffled margins paired with bright purple flowers make a great display..." 

Linneman's website says that this plant has "great" flowers.
