Hosta 'Valley's Greenstone'

This non-registered cultivar of unidentified parentage was introduced by Jeroen Linneman of the Netherlands in 2013. According to the originator, this cultivar appears to have H. rupufraga or H. pulchella in its background but the specific parents are not known. The shiny leaves are dark green and have thick substance.

Jeroen's website says, "Greenstone refers to several types of hard, durable and highly valued nephrite jade, bowenite. These Greenstone is found in southern New Zealand. Pounamu is the Māori name."
