Hosta 'Valley's Love Birds'

This open-pollinated seedling of an unnamed seedling of H. pycnophylla was registered by Jeroen Linneman of the Netherlands in 2015. The upright growing, small size (8 inches high by 11 inches wide) hosta has yellow foliage which lightens in color as the season progresses.

Its leaves are lightly twisted, deeply wavy, moderately corrugated, white on the bottom and slightly shiny on top. Deep purple, tubular flowers bloom from late July into August and it sets viable seeds.

The registration materials state: "...yellow lightens with the growing season"
