Hosta 'Valley's Petticoat'
 

This upright growing, medium size (17 inches tall by 23 inches wide) hybrid of H. pycnophylla × H. 'Riptide' was registered by Jeroen Linneman of the Netherlands in 2009. It is a medium blue-green hosta with foliage that is broadly ovate, moderately wavy, heavily rippled and slightly shiny on top. Tubular flowers bloom from mid-July into August on scapes about 16 to 20 inches tall.

According to the registration materials: "...Elegant pycnophylla like hosta with white backs, nice purple petioles and wavy margins...pale yellow at the end of the season..."
