Hosta 'Venetian Star'
 

This fast growing, medium size (15 inches high by 30 inches wide) hybrid of H. 'Venetian Blue' was registered by Mark Zilis of Illinois in 2009. It has intensely blue-green foliage that is elliptic, intensely twisted, heavily rippled, deeply wavy, moderately corrugated and has a glaucous bloom on top. Tubular flowers bloom from mid-July into August on scapes up to 32 inches tall.

According to the registration materials: "...Unruly, twisted foliage and deep blue-green foliage color on a relatively narrow leaf blade..."
