A second generation
H. 'Tardiana'
seedling, this cultivar was registered by the British Hosta and Hemerocallis Society (BHHS) for
Eric Smith in 1988. It forms a mound about 16
inches high by 35 inches wide with slightly cupped, slightly
corrugated foliage of thick substance. The pale purplish
lavender flowers begin to bloom in late June.
