Hosta 'Wagtail'

A second generation H. 'Tardiana' seedling, this cultivar was registered by the British Hosta and Hemerocallis Society (BHHS) for Eric Smith in 1988. It forms a mound about 16 inches high by 35 inches wide with slightly cupped, slightly corrugated foliage of thick substance. The pale purplish lavender flowers begin to bloom in late June.

Similar cultivars include H. 'Sherborne Profusion'.
