This cultivar was listed on the MyHostas Database website. Originated by Gavin Ellis of England, this non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. 'War Paint'. It is a giant size, semi-upright mound of deeply lobed, dark green foliage with yellow medial (center) variegation. Unlike the mother plant, it keeps its color all season. The leaves are heavily rippled, deeply veined and have thick substance. Pale lavender flowers with whitish bracts bloom from July into August.
