This is a hybrid of Hosta sieboldiana 'Northern
Halo' and Hosta plantaginea
that was registered by
Dr. Lloyd (Gil) Jones in 1993. It forms a large mound of upright blue green
foliage and has white flowers that appear late in the season.
This cultivar is part of the "Warwick Series" of hosta cultivars developed by
Dr. Lloyd (Gil) Jones.

Sports include H. 'Essence of
Summer' and H. 'Southern Essence'.
