Hosta 'White Standard'

Originated by Pauline Banyai (credited but not known for certain) of Michigan, this non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. 'Gold Standard'. It has green foliage with a white medial (center) variegation. It is a large size (22 inches high by 60 inches wide) plant with lavender, funnel shaped flowers on 42 inch scapes from mid-July into August. This is a 'Fortunei' type hosta.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...may no longer exist."
