Hosta 'White Surprise'

This sport of H. 'Fortunei Stenantha Variegated' was registered by Loleta Powell of Powell's Iris Haven in North Carolina in 1995. It forms a small size mound of green leaves with a wide, white medial (center) variegation.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...has so little chlorophyll that it is extremely difficult to grow. Try it in containers and keep the slugs away."
