Hosta 'Whopper'
 

 

Registered by Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan in 2002, this cultivar is a seedling of an H. 'Dorothy Benedict' seedling. It is a large size hosta with green foliage that has a chartreuse to creamy white marginal variegation.

The leaves are moderately corrugated, ovate and have thick substance. Near white flowers bloom from late June into July on scapes up to 40 inches tall.
