Hosta 'William Henry Harrison'
 

This cultivar was registered in 2010 by Peter and Jean Ruh of Ohio and is of unidentified parentage. It is a large size (22 inches high by 48 inches wide) hosta with greenish yellow foliage. The leaves are moderately wavy, ovate, heavily rippled and dull on top. Tubular flowers bloom on scapes about 28 inches tall.

According to the registration materials: "...spring color and larger drooping leaves..."

William Henry Harrison Sr. was the ninth President of the United States and he served for only part of one year (1841) before becoming the first President to die in office.
