Hosta 'Winfield Gold'

A tissue culture sport of H. 'Sea Dream', this cultivar originated by Mark Zilis of Illinois and registered by Peter Ruh of Ohio in 2002. The large size mound is about 18 inches high with a spread of 50 inches. Its leaves are slightly corrugated and have above average substance. Lavender flowers bloom from mid-July to August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...looks great in combination with 'Sea Dream', its white-margined mother plant."
