Originated in Japan by Toyozo Nakayama and registered on his behalf by then Registrar, Kevin Walek in 2009, this cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a medium size hosta about 14 inches high by 40 inches wide with dark green foliage. The ovate shaped leaves are heavily rippled. Seed set and viability were not known at the time of registration although it does flower in August.
