This cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Gold Edger' × an unnamed hosta which was registered by Randy Goodwin of Indiana in 2009. The medium size plant (12 inches high by 24 inches wide) has golden yellow foliage that is broadly ovate, slightly wavy, slightly corrugated, moderately flat and dull on top. Near white, tubular flowers bloom in July. It sets viable seeds. The yellow color intensifies as the summer progresses.
