Hosta 'Zager Green'

Called an H. 'Fortunei'-type hosta, this cultivar was registered by Peter Ruh of Ohio in 1987 on behalf of the originator, Herbert A. Zager of Iowa. The medium size plant grows to around 17 inches in height with a spread of 42 inches. It has medium green colored foliage that is ovate shaped and moderately corrugated with a bloom on the bottom of the leaf. Very pale lavender flowers bloom in July.
