Hosta 'Zager's Pride'

This H. 'Frances Williams'-type plant was registered by Peter Ruh of Ohio in 1987 on behalf of its originator, Herbert A. Zager. It forms a large size mound of heavily corrugated, blue-green foliage with a chartreuse marginal variegation. Clusters of near white flowers bloom from mid-June into July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...differs from 'Frances Williams' by its wide, chartreuse margins that do not burn in spring. Even in mid-July, the margins remain chartreuse."
