Hosta 'Zippin Pippin'

Originated by Bob Geske of Geske Gardens in Wisconsin and registered by Andrea Geske and Justin Geske of Wisconsin in 2022, this fast growing cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a medium size plant about 12 inches high by 27 inches wide with green foliage.

The leaves are "convexly folded due to the wavy margin's tendency to turn under", The are narrowly ovate in shape, slightly wavy and very shiny on top. Pale lavender flowers with medium lavender stripes bloom from mid-July into August on scapes about 24 inches tall.

The registration materials state: "Small mound of dark green shiny leaves that are bumpy, wavy and curly - just like a roller coaster!"
