Originated by Rick Goodenough of Massachusetts, this non-registered cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Curly Fries' × H. 'Mr. Black'. It is a small size hosta about 12 inches high by 12 inches wide. The foliage is blue-green with a long, narrow blade that is very wavy on the margins similar to H. 'Curly Fries'. In the spring, the reddish purple of the petioles extends up to the bottom of the leaves. The flower scapes are also reddish purple in color.
