Hosta 'Madison Mine'

 

A hybrid of H. 'Green Piecrust' × H. 'Tokudama' was originated by Mark Zilis of Illinois and registered by Jim Schwarz of Jim's Hostas of Iowa (now owned by Uniquely Hostas of Wisconsin) in 2011. It is a large size plant about 20 inches high with a spread of 38 inches. The medium blue-green foliage is broadly ovate, slightly rippled, corrugated and dull on top. Pale lavender, tubular flowers bloom from July into August. It sets viable seeds.
