This cultivar is a sport of H. kikutii which is native to Japan. It is a medium size hosta with green foliage.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...this is a population of plants found in an area in Japan where both H. densa and H. kikutii are found...flowers and foliage very similar to Hosta kikutii."
