It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words. Quality images and captions can add greatly to the overall feeling and impact of your website.

The Standard Website Package includes the ability to add up to 5 photos and the Single Page Website Package allows for 2 photos. However, if you would really like to show off your group's activities and fun times, you might want to add the Photo Gallery Option to your site.

This option allows up to 50 photos to be added to your website. They do not have to be submitted all at once but can be added in increments over time until you reach your full allocation. Once the 50 photo limit is reached, you will need to purchase another Gallery option for the next 50.

A Photo Gallery is an excellent place to promote your group's accomplishments and major activities. The Gallery will be set up to show thumbnails of your photos which will be 150 pixels wide. Clicking on this thumbnail will lead to a full sized view of the picture (i.e. a 720 pixels wide image with a caption of your choice). The thumbnail shown here will lead you to an example picture page with caption.

We have created a Sample Photo Gallery to give you an idea of what can be done with this option.

You may submit your photos in either digital or paper form. We will scan the paper prints into digital format and return the originals to you upon your request.

Digital images may be submitted in the standard formats used on webpages such as .tiff, .jpg, .gif, .png or .bmp. If you have the ability to crop and edit the images, you may submit them in final form (720 pixels wide or less).

Or, you may also submit them straight from the camera download and we will crop and size them as well as making minor adjustments to the color and contrast levels.

Photos included in the Website Packages (5 for Standard and 2 for Single Page) may be submitted in paper print form and we will scan and edit it them for placement on the website. Additional photos may be added for a small additional fee.
