The Men's Garden Club of Paris is devoted to the art and science of gardening in our beautiful city. Founded in 1834 as a branch of the French National Men's Garden Society, the Club became open to all regardless of gender in 1981.

Activities and Programs: We are proud to offer many educational programs to our members and to the community at large each year. Our classes and workshops are second to none and we are always trying to meet and exceed the expectations of our attendees.

Last year one of our programs featured the renowned garden writer, Phillipe Nom de Plume. His program was attended by over 245 people.

Volunteering: We emphasize community service and sponsor several weekend activities each spring and summer. Each year, our members volunteer countless hours to beautification projects within Paris. We are known for our selfless dedication to planting flowers, trees and shrubs for the glorification of our magnificent city. For more...

Meetings: Club members gather  first Thursday of the month at the clubhouse on the grounds of the Jardin des Plantes in Paris. Prospective members should be residents of the City of Paris or the surrounding Arrondissements.

Membership:  Members are eligible for decreased fares on the Metro system during the spring and summer months. Also, trips to Monet's garden and those at Versailles are at a reduced rate. Please contact us for information on membership. We will do a thorough background check of your gardening skills and family status. Our membership is limited, however, and only one in 100 applicants are asked to join. You may be the lucky one.

More About Us: Please feel free to take a look at our Photo Gallery to see some of the activities and volunteer projects for yourself. We are proud of our accomplishments and would like to have you join us in helping beautify our wonderful city.
