The
Pond and Aquatic Plant Society of Eden
was founded in 1912 when Dr. Abe Vigoda
purchased the first two Koi from Japan.
The hobby caught on quickly and soon had
spread throughout Eden.
Dr. Vigoda donated the first Koi to the
Eden Park and Waste Treatment Facility
in 1923. Since then over 12,347 fish
have been removed from the ponds and
donated to local water gardens. We hope
