Scheer of Connecticut and registered on her behalf by the
Registrar of the American Hosta Society in
2019, this cultivar is of unidentified parentage.
It is a large size hosta about 22 inches high by 48
inches wide with "strong" yellow-green, very wavy
foliage. The ovate leaves have a satin sheen on top and
are slightly twisted and slightly corrugated. Lavender
flowers bloom in July on purple speckled blue-green
scapes 25 to 30 inches tall followed by viable seeds..
The registration materials state: "...Quickly forms a
dense mound of very crinkled, wavy-edged
leaves...emerges bright yellow before quickly turning to
yellow-green (142A) and finally moderate olive-green
(146A) by late June."
