One of the 24 squares in Paris created by the engineer Alphand.
It was renamed in 1947 for the French linguist Ferdinand Brunot
(1860-1938), mayor of the 14th district from 1910 to 1919.
This pleasant oasis of green offers fifty trees, including an
imposing chestnut dating from the creation of the garden.
