Located on a hill above the River Lee, this beautiful garden blends seamlessly into the surrounding landscape. The Royal Horticulture Society calls it one of Ireland's "flagship gardens." Started in the early 1950's by Mrs Peggy Cross, the garden is now under the skillful management of  her son, Brian.

This is one of those wonderful gardens where you can't always see what is around the next corner but you are sure that it will be something good. The paths wind this way and that leading you to interesting plantings and statuary along the way.
