This attractive, compact garden in Perth, Scotland, was once described as the finest two acres of private garden in the country, this oasis of peace and color is a real urban haven. It contains an impressive collection of many rare and unusual plants: among the most breathtaking are the Himalayan poppies, Meconopsis.

Meconopsis

Beautiful little garden I first visited BI (Before Internet) way  back in 1980 and discovered that Scotland is another of those wonderful parts of the world for growing plants.

Visited again in 2009 and was very impressed about the new plantings and the wonderful array of plants. This is a very nice, smaller garden well worth the visit! You can combine it with the nearby Scone Palace and the University of Dundee Botanic Garden is only about 20 minutes down the road.
