Harlow Carr - England - Gardens, Parks, Squares and Open Spaces

Harlow Carr came under Royal Horticultural Society ownership with its merger with the Northern Horticultural Society in 2001. The 58 acre facility includes a woodland garden, a herbaceous garden, rock, bog and alpine gardens. It has, perhaps, the longest streamside garden in England.

This is a very interesting and large garden set in the Yorkshire area of northern England. Under the auspices of the Royal Horticultural Society, it is dedicated to practical horticulture and has many wonderful displays for both the ornamental gardener and for those interested in fruit and vegetables.
