This is a 700 year old castle in North Yorkshire. There is a
walled garden with large herbaceous borders (under
renovation in 2009) and a large kitchen garden.

This is a nice garden to visit
if you are in the area. At our visit in 2009, the large
perennial border near the glass house was under renovation.
I suspect that the spring display of bulbs and rhododendrons
would be of interest also.
