Allied Arts Guild Gardens - USA - Gardens, Parks, Squares and Open Spaces


This part is a collection of small "cottages" for a variety of artisans to display and sell their creations for the benefit of the Lucille Packard Children's Hospital at nearby Stanford University. Mixed in among the structures are a number of small but wonderful gardens including a Blue Garden, Court of Abundance, Sunset Terrace and Magnolia Terrace. There is also a restaurant on the grounds.

If you are in the Stanford University area, this is a very nice garden to visit. There are formal gardens with boxwood hedges as well as a nice collection of roses on standards. It is a calm, restful area not far from the bustle of downtown Menlo Park. Although intensively gardened, the site is only a few acres and can be viewed in about an hour or so.
