IF you are interested in seeing large, mature trees and shrubs that are native to the Michigan, you will find this arboretum an interesting stop. This collection is located across the street from the Ford Motor Company World Headquarters and is used by employees as a peaceful place to take a walk during the noon hour. There are small clusters of each species of tree and you can get an idea of their mature size and spread. This is a collection of trees only, no flowers or other landscape type display gardens. I enjoyed my visit, but then, I am a tree enthusiast.
