This 52 acre public garden
was established in 1980. It includes a formal rose garden,
Japanese garden, children's garden, All-American Test
Gardens and an American Hosta Society display garden.

This outstanding garden is open to the public free of charge
which is an unusual thing today...in my experience anyway.
When we visited in June, there was a wonderful display of
iris in full bloom. The hosta garden contains hundreds of
cultivars that are nicely labeled. Make a point to see this
garden if you are in the area.
