This is one of those "dual" purpose visits if you happen to be in the Fort Myers, Florida area and have a couple of hours. The history of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford living side by side during certain winter months is amazing. Edison was always experimenting and was trying to find new plants that could be of use, especially rubber trees. There are many mature specimen trees and flowering shrubs on the property.
