Fernwood Botanical Garden - USA - Gardens, Parks, Squares and Open Spaces

Started in 1941 as a private property of 12.5 acres, it was eventually expanded to 105 acres and became open to the public in 1964. This facility located in the extreme southwestern part of Michigan is home to the Kay Boydston Fern House, Nature Center, Prairie and a 45 acre arboretum.
