Established in 1922 with
money from the Morton Salt Company, the arboretum on the
west side of Chicago maintains collections of trees and
shrubs from around the world. In recent years, it has added
a very nice children's garden.

shrubs that will survive in this type of climate, Morton
Arboretum is for you. That is the major role of this
facility. They have added a substantial children's garden
which is a major plus.
