This garden on the university campus was first planted around 1880. It is also known as the Arizona Cactus Garden and is about 30,000 square feet in size. It was in neglect until 1997 when local volunteer began a restoration of the garden's collections.

Located in the Stanford Arboretum near the Stanford Family Mausoleum

We visited this small garden in April and it was bursting with flowers and interest. Being a Midwesterner, I am not generally high on cactus and succulents but this garden made me re-evaluate a bit. It is well worth an hour or two if you are near Palo Alto and Stanford University.
