The 132 acre facility is operated by the Worcester County Horticultural Society which has been in existence since 1842. The gardens at the current site opened in 1984. Tower Hill consists of many different gardens, an Orangerie and a wildlife refuge.

This is a fairly new garden but it must have been very well funded up front. The facilities are extensive, in great condition and very well maintained. Everything was in wonderful shape and the plants were well labeled. Well worth going out of your way to visit.
