This is an open-pollinated seedling of H. 'Sieboldiana' that was registered by Dr. Charles Purtymun at Walden West Nursery of Oregon in 1989. It is a blue-green plant that grows to about 24 inches in height with a width of around 65 inches. The leaves are slightly corrugated and wavy. It bears near-white flowers in July.
