Hosta 'Ahwaneeh'

This hybrid of H. montana macrophylla x H. kikutii was registered by Ursula Syre-Herz of South Carolina in 1990. It forms a large size mound of green foliage which turns more yellow as the summer progresses. The leaves have deep veins and no corrugation. White flowers bloom from late July into August.

According to Wikipedia, Ahwahnee is a census-designated place in Madera County, California. It is located 5.25 miles west of Yosemite Forks, at an elevation of 2326 feet. But I was unable to find anything on Ahwaneeh.
