Hosta 'Adipose Donkey'

This cultivar was listed on the Hosta Lists website as having puckered blue-green foliage. It is a hybrid of H. 'Darwin's Standard' from Jeff Moore of Wisconsin.

According to an article from a Google search, "When living as a companion animal, however, the donkey easily accumulates adipose tissue, and this may create a metabolically compromised individual prone to diseases of excess such as laminitis and hyperlipemia."  Don't know what that has to do with hostas...Oh, well.
