Hosta 'Angel Eyes'

This sport of H. 'Blue Angel' was originated by Chick Wasitis of Bridgewood Gardens from Maryland and registered by Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) on his behalf in 2009. It forms a large size mound about 26 inches high with a spread of 63 inches. The green foliage with blue-green streaks turns green (viridescent) as the season progresses. Its leaves are lightly wavy, very lightly corrugated and broadly ovate. Near white flowers bloom in Maryland from late June into July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...becomes a magnificent mound of variegated foliage that can be utilized as the focal point of any shaded garden. I, however, cannot see any difference from 'Guardian Angel'."
