Hosta 'Beatrice Variegated'
 

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), this plant which was originated by Frances Williams of Massachusetts is the "...true form of 'Beatrice'...". It is a medium size hosta which grows to around 13 inches in height with a spread of around 37 inches. The leaves have a narrow elliptic form and thin substance. Bright purple flowers bloom in late July followed by viable seeds.
