Hosta 'Behemoth'

This  seedling was registered by Robert Savory of Savory's Gardens in Minnesota in 1988. It forms a giant size hosta about 29 inches high by 60 inches wide clump with deeply lobed leaf bases. The leaves have a thick substance and a thin bloom on the underside. Very pale lavender flowers on 45 inch long scapes bloom from late June into July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...can easily be mistaken for H. montana macrophylla."
