This cultivar was registered by
Peter Ruh in 1989 on behalf of
William Borsch and Sons nursery in Multnomah, Oregon who originated it in the
1930's. This large (27 inches high) cultivar forms a mound of blue-green
foliage.
According to

(2009), it has a "...Hosta montana
background."
